Hey there, we are Melissa and Dan.

Welcome to our little space where we can share our thoughts, recipes, home projects, family life and the things we love!

I’m a registered nurse by trade and Dan is a chef, but we also find so much joy in all things big or small, that life has to offer. Years ago, while working in the ER, after a tragic accident, we had a debriefing and something was engraved into my mind, that I choose to follow every day;

“No matter what you do or where you go, live a rich life”.

A rich life is one full of love, family, friends, joy, memories, beautiful moments and especially a life that you are proud to call your own.

After nine years of infertility, we were blessed with our son through IVF, and there is not a single moment that goes by, that we are not eternally thankful for him. He is our purpose in this life, and everything we do is to give him the love & life he deserves.

Our Grateful Hearts has been fixated in our minds for years, and we are thrilled to be able to take the leap to make it a reality. Thank you for taking the time to stop in and get to know us!
